Liquid Spirit Gozo is a boutique, music-led dance festival rooted in soulful music, house music, and the culture of the dancefloor. Our music policy is intentionally curated to prioritise quality, heritage, and shared experience, rather than trends or mainstream nightlife.
Across multiple stages, the festival explores a wide yet coherent musical spectrum, moving through soul, disco, funk, rare groove, and house in all its forms. Each stage has its own identity, while remaining connected by a single thread: music that brings people together.

Main Stage
Soul, Disco and House Bangers
This is the beating heart of Liquid Spirit Gozo. The Main Stage is the central gathering point of the festival, delivering a high-energy blend of soul, disco, and house bangers designed to lift the entire dancefloor. Selector Stage
Soul and Specialist Sounds
A journey into sound, where spirit flows and soulful music is celebrated. Set beneath ancient trees, the Selector Stage is dedicated to the deeper side of soulful music culture. This space is curated for listeners who value musical heritage, storytelling, and craftsmanship. Here, selectors explore the roots and evolution of soul through carefully chosen records that move fluidly between classic soul, funk, rare groove, neo-soul, disco, and related underground sounds.
The focus is on depth rather than volume. Music is played with intention, creating an atmosphere where past and present meet, and where every selection carries meaning.
The Cave
House Music All Night Long
House lovers unite. The Cave is a dedicated space for house music in its many expressions. From soulful and disco-rooted house through to deeper, afro-influenced, garage, and classic Chicago sounds, this stage celebrates the rhythm, emotion, and culture that define house music.
Intimate and immersive, the room is designed for dancers who feel house music as much as they hear it. The energy here is infectious, driven by groove, connection, and a shared love of the dancefloor.

What Is The History Of Dance and Soul Music Festivals In Gozo?
The history of dance and soul music festivals in Gozo is not extensively documented, but we do know that we are one of the first international festivals on the island. While many events inhabit the mainland, Malta, this boutique event focuses on dance and soul music on its sister island, Gozo.
We combine music events such as villa, club, and boat parties with local cuisine and cultural experiences, creating a unique island event and soulful holiday and feature international DJs and live performers spanning house and soul music genres.
